HUSKY MEN’S BASKETBALL2016-2017 SEASON TICKET RENEWAL

Energy, excitement and entertaining are all words that can be used to describe the 2015-16 UW men’s basketball season. Washington posted its 13th winning season under head coach Lorenzo Romar and took a huge step in bringing Husky Basketball back to its signature style of fast-paced play created by intense defensive pressure. The Huskies averaged almost 84 points per game and led the nation in blocked shots for the season. Washington’s exciting brand of basketball had everyone on the edge of their seats as 13 games were decided by five or less points and four games went to overtime. UW pulled off its first UCLA sweep since the 2010-11 season, advanced to the Pac-12 Tournament quarterfinals for the first time in four years, and earned its eighth NIT Tournament bid in program history. The energy was back on Montlake with the largest crowds since the 2012-13 season, highlighted by 9,266 fans for Arizona. The majority of Washington’s youthful roster returns for 2016-17 with a solid year of experience under their belt and will be joined by UW’s sixth McDonald’s All-American under Romar in Markelle Fultz, which should guarantee another exciting year of Husky Basketball.
