HURSTVILLE OVAL CASE STUDY Project Title: Strategic Business and Facilities Masterplan Client: Hurstville City Council Project Description Hurstville City Council engaged ISFM to advise on the redevelopment of Hurstville Oval to achieve increased usage rates, service professional events and to establish a base for elite level sports training. ISFM’s final report recommended that the redevelopment include the expansion of the playing field, through the removal of the existing perimeter concrete cycling track, together with the introduction of lighting to enable night fixtures. The report also recommended that new change rooms, gymnasium and sports medicine facilities be developed. Furthermore, the report recommended that Council de- velop a child minding centre, playground and coffee shop that would provide ancillary revenue streams.
