Women in Science Scholarship for India for high achieving female students from India The Award Women have made significant contributions to science from the earliest times. The Faculty of Science at UQ acknowledges all the famous women who have made a remarkable contribution to science. The India Women in Science Scholarship valued at A$10,000 is to encourage and reward female students from India studying undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programs administered by the Faculty of Science at The University of Queensland. Eligibility To be eligible for a Women in Science Scholarship for India at UQ, an applicant must: • Be a female citizen of India Demonstrate strong academic performance as part of the UQ Science program application Must not simultaneously hold another scholarship for study at UQ By the scholarships closing date, submit all documentation to meet conditions associated with an offer from UQ for an approved program administrated by Faculty of Science, commencing in Semester 2 (July) 2020 Application process The Faculty of Science must receive your program and scholarship applications by 30 May 2020 by 5pm (AEST). We will not consider incomplete applications or applications that are inaccurate, false or misleading. Humanities and Social Sciences Scholarships for Excellencefor High Achieving Students from India, 2020

An exciting opportunity for high-achieving students from India who wish to further their postgraduate studies in UQ’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS). Challenge yourself academically and develop the skills to thrive in a constantly changing and competitive global market.

The AwardA$10,000 tuition scholarship per year for up to two-years is available for high achieving students who have completed undergraduate studies in India and will commence postgraduate coursework studies at UQ in Semester 1, 2020.

EligibilityTo be eligible, a student must: • be an Indian citizen residing in India who has successfully

completed undergraduate studies

• have received an unconditional offer for a HASS postgraduate program and be commencing study at UQ in Semester 1, 2020.

• not simultaneously hold another scholarship - if you have been awarded financial support towards your program please highlight this in your application.

Application processStudents who have received or accepted an unconditional offer by 30 Novemeber 2019 will be automatically considered for this scholarship, if they meet the eligibility criteria. Awarding of the scholarship will be merit based.
