Electrical Engineer

DUTIES:Develop simple hardware designs for new features. Utilize microprocessor, Ram, Flash, Analog to Digital converters, sensors and motors. Trouble shoot problems and identify possible solutions to correct design deficiencies. Test, verify, validate and document embedded hardware and software. Takes direction from senior engineering personnel. Attends design reviews and weekly project meetings. Work as part of a Project Team to meet cost and schedule objectives.

EXPERIENCE BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, 2 - 5 years of industry related experience.

SKILLS Knowledge of electrical and mechanical assembly methods. Electronic design of simple analog and digital circuits, laboratory test equipment and troubleshooting methodology. Familiar with embedded processor design, microprocessor controlled functions, memory architecture, keyboards, LCD’s, RAM and FLASH memory, communication protocol. Understanding of Hardware/Software interface design and control. Experience with Computer Aided Engineering Design Tools, and “C” computer programming techniques. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
