Human Resource Masterclass Workshop Series
This 2-day Remuneration Management workshop will help participants design, implement and maintain a cash reward management system that is aligned to organisation’s strategic objectives.
Participants will learn the various steps of reward management, including developing a compensation strategy, analysing current internal equity and comparing current practice to the market, developing job grades and base and variable pay structures, and communicating and implementing programs.
This program is designed as 2 stand-alone and yet integrated workshops, a 1-day Fundamentals of Remuneration Management workshop, and another 1-day Advanced Remuneration Management Workshop. The first day provides participants with the basic tools and concepts of analysing pay and developing base pay structures. The second day provides participants with more advanced concepts and discussions on other components of remuneration such as annual variable bonuses and allowances, and integrates all the key points of both days in a case study. Participants may choose to sign-up for both days or choose to attend either day.
Target audience for day 1: Compensation and Benefits practitioners who need to apply analysis skills to support the design and implementation of base salary structure and policies
Target audience for day 2: Compensation and Benefits Managers and HR Managers who need to design and implement remuneration strategies, policies and plans.
After attending day 1 of the workshop, you will be able to:> Understand the full process of remuneration management> Understand the components of remuneration and how each component is used> Perform a range of pay analyses, including internal equity and external competitiveness checks to identify current issues in pay practice> Develop job grades and base pay structures> Understand the issues related to implementing base pay structures
After attending day 2 of the workshop, you will be able to:> Understand how remuneration strategies and policies can be aligned with organisation objectives> Develop job grades and appropriate pay mix according to remuneration strategy and policy> Analyse the implications of pay policies using compa-ratios, different pay increase mechanisms and cost of policies > Understand the principles of designing annual variable bonus plans> Understand the issues related to communicating, implementing and maintaining total reward programs

Remuneration Management Registration Form
REGISTRATION AND PAYMENTReservations may be made via telephone or fax but will only be confirmed upon receipt of the relevant registration form(s) and payment. Full payment must be made before workshop commencement.
Enrolment will be closed once the maximum workable number of participants is reached. An invoice will be sent to the participating organisation.
CANCELLATION AND SUBSTITUTION POLICY: Cancellation made at least 3 weeks before the event is entitled to a full refund. Cancellation notified less than 3 weeks before the event will be subjected to 50% cancellation fees. No refund will be given if notice is less than 2 weeks prior to the commencement date.
Transfers/Substitution to other events can be made if required, but notice given must be at least 1 week before the start of the event originally booked. If less than 1 weeks’ notice is given, the above conditions apply.
PROGRAMME CHANGES: Hay Group reserves the right to amend or cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances. Participants will be notified in advance of the changes. Hay Group will not be responsible for costs incurred by participants when an event is cancelled. Please do not make any travel or hotel arrangements until you have confirmed with us that the event will take place.
