ABSTRACT

The main aim of the project is to develop a Human Resource Module for the

Intranet Automation of HR Software for an organization. The module enhances good

Interaction / communication facilities between the employees and HR Administrator. The

site containing pages about an employee has to be dynamically created based on the user

id and password and provide links to web pages containing information.

To develop a software application to the application specific to the HR

automation in an intranet specific to company there by allowing the integration of all the

employees pertaining to that organization. To keep track of all the other departments

related to that organization such as marketing, development etc.

To allow the HR of an organization to update the employee details when ever

there is a change in the employee profile pertaining to that organization. To bring onto a

string the employee specific suggestions and make them free to post their requirements to

the HR thus bringing the organization more specific regarding the maintenance of the

organization.

INTRODUCTION

Human Resource Management System consists of list of records

of the HR and Employee in the organization. This is a web based application.

The main aim of the project is to develop a Human Resource Module for the

Intranet Automation of HR Software for an organization. The module enhances

In an Information Hierarchy, the information regarding a particular

employee is accessed by the same or any person above him.

Benchmarks to be implemented are :

Posting Suggestions and Grievances to a person concerned or a Group

of persons.

Updating his/her information hierarchy

User Control for Navigating through the web Pages

HR Administrator has a facility of Adding / Viewing / Updating all the

information about the employee in the company.

HR has the facility to view detailed Reports regarding the projects in

the company based on the Technologies Used for the projects

HR also has the facility of viewing a summary report of all the projects

done by a particular/all employee along with the employee’s

SYSTEM ANALYSIS

1. EXISTING SYSTEM:

HR Software has implemented different modules such as

connecting the employees in the company.

The shortcoming of HR Module has made the HR Software

incomplete for automation. The system has not implemented the HR Module for

the employees regarding his/her

The HR Administration falls short of controlling the employee’s

activities in analyzing his/her strengths and weakness. The decision for appraisal

of assigning next project to the employee or to train him/her to enhance the skills

– where lies with proper projection. He is not provided with the detailed project

information done or to be assigned based on Application / Verticals.

2. PROPOSED SYSTEM:

Decision in assigning proper skillful hands for the project is an

important issue in HR Module. The HR Administrator should report with the

personal holding the necessary skills required for the project assignment. The

decision in making analysis about the employee’s skills is a prime important

before booting in.

The proposed system of HR Module is the right software to be

incorporated into the HR Software for helping the organization needs with

respect to skilful Human Resource.

The proposed system provides detail general information about the

employee along with Educational, Certification, Skill and Project details. It

enhances the HR Management in adding, viewing and updating employees’

details and generates various reports regarding employee’s skill and experience.

Suggestions and Grievances posted by the employees are upholded

for taking care of the necessary steps in forwarding company’s obligation.

3. OBJECTIVE OF THE SYSTEM:

The main objective of the system is to maintain the relation ship between

HR and Employees in an organization.

Design is the first step in the development phase for any techniques and

principles for the purpose of defining a device, a process or system in sufficient detail to

permit its physical realization.

Once the software requirements have been analyzed and specified the

software design involves three technical activities - design, coding, implementation and

testing that are required to build and verify the software.

The design activities are of main importance in this phase, because in this

activity, decisions ultimately affecting the success of the software implementation and its

ease of maintenance are made. These decisions have the final bearing upon reliability and

maintainability of the system. Design is the only way to accurately translate the

customer’s requirements into finished software or a system.

Design is the place where quality is fostered in development. Software

design is a process through which requirements are translated into a representation of

software. Software design is conducted in two steps. Preliminary design is concerned

with the transformation of requirements into data.

Description:

This module generates employee’s general information along with contact, qualification, skill, certification and project information for the HR Administrator.

Based on the skill provided by the employee he/ she will be assigned project task. Any mismanagement is handled and respective response is generated. Sub Modules:

Description:

Adding, viewing and updating employee information and generating various reports based on present and previous project performance is very much maintained.

Based on the ‘Suggestions and Grievances’ posted by the employees the HR administrator takes necessary steps in forwarding company’s obligation and maintain the harmony and spirit of the work environment.

CONCLUSION

The package was designed in such a way that future modifications can be

done easily. The following conclusions can be deduced from the development of the

project.

Automation of the entire system improves the efficiency

It provides a friendly graphical user interface which proves to be better

when compared to the existing system.

It gives appropriate access to the authorized users depending on their

permissions.

It effectively overcomes the delay in communications.

Updating of information becomes so easier.

System security, data security and reliability are the striking features.

The System has adequate scope for modification in future if it is necessary.

FUTURE ENHANCEMENTS

This application avoids the manual work and the problems concern with it.

It is an easy way to obtain the information regarding the various products information

that are present in the Super markets.

Well I and my team members have worked hard in order to present an

improved website better than the existing one’s regarding the information about the

various activities. Still ,we found out that the project can be done in a better way.

Primarily, when we request information about a particular product it just shows the

company, product id, product name and no. of quantities available. So, after getting the

information we can get access to the product company website just by a click on the

product name .

The next enhancement that we can add the searching option. We can

directly search to the particular product company from this site .These are the two

enhancements that we could think of at present.
