Human Behavior “Famous Psychologist” PowerPoint Presentation Objective: We will not have the chance to study all the sub fields of psychology, yet there are many famous contributors to this field. In order to familiarize ourselves with these famous figures we will be creating and learning about some psychologist’s major contributions by developing PowerPoint presentations. Requirements:

5-7 minutes in length, PowerPoint presentation

Due __________________ (we will pull from a hat to see who goes when)

Use at least 5 sources (not including the Psych textbook). At least 2 of these sources may not be websites. (Cite all facts!)

Minimum of 10 slides

Minimum of 4 visuals (only 1 may be a picture of the Psychologist)

Include in PowerPoint: o Background Information on the Psychologist o Timeline – 8-10 major events from his/her life o Major study(ies) that the Psychologist is known for

Summarize the study o Major contributions to Psychology (minimum of two) o Modern Perspective (which would his/her beliefs fit into)

Based on your research o Field of Psychology that he/she would contribute to today

Based on your research o 2-3 Famous Quotes o Works Cited o 2 Multiple Choice Questions and 1 Short Answer based on your PP
