This already became clear when a few weeks ago, Hans Ulrich Gruber, speaker of AGO AG‘s Board, came to visit South Africa on a delegation trip. Together with the director of the Bavarian state chancellery, Minister of State Siegfried Schneider, he had a number of appointments on their agenda. Apart from repeated meetings with Hellen Zille, Prime Minister of Westkap, as well as local Ministers in charge, a plan of activities was prepared with officials and representatives from science and economy which was passed by the Prime Minister. Subjects such as project potentials in the field of renewable energies, location development and local energy supply were discussed. „Hellen Zille thanked me with a letter for the visit. Furthermore, she announced a prompt cooperation with the representatives of AGO in Cape Town. We are going to work on the subject of emissions trading and on potentials in the field of CDM projects as well as examine particular projects carefully“, explains Hans Ulrich Gruber, speaker of the BOD of AGO AG Energie + Anlagen.
