My dear Brothers and Sisters,

We have now experienced the visit of ourChief Apostle to our District. His visitincluded the Good Friday Service inAuckland, New Zealand, the EasterSunday Service in Melbourne, Victoria andthe Easter Tuesday Service in Perth,Western Australia. He was accompaniedby District Apostles Noel Barnes (CapeTown, South Africa), Leslie Latorcai(Waterloo, Canada), Norberto Passuni(Buenos Aires, Argentina) and KarlheinzSchumacher (Hamburg, Germany).

As anticipated, the visit has brought with it anabundance of experiences, both personaland collective. The memory of these willundoubtedly remain with each soul thatwas touched by them. To commemoratethis visit, this publication is largely devotedto the events of these blessed days.

The Divine Service on Easter Tuesday inPerth will feature in the July 2010 editionof the Our Family. I hope that it will serveas an opportunity to again 're-live' this veryspecial Divine Service.

We are very pleased to have anotherApostle active in our District following theordination of the former District ElderDesmond Lodewick. Our Chief Apostleordained him as Apostle during the EasterSunday Service in Melbourne. He will takeover the responsibility for the work in theAustralian States of South Australia,

Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber began his visit to the Australia District in Auckland New Zealand accompanied by DistrictApostles Andrew Andersen, Noel Barnes, Leslie Latorcai, Norberto Passuni and Karl-Heinz Schumacher. The highlight wasthe Good Friday service on 2 April where the children greeted the Chief Apostle with traditional songs.

Chief Apostle Visit - Melbourne (District Youth Convention)During Chief Apostle Leber's visit to Melbourne he spent time with the youth at the District Youth Convention on Easter Saturday.

The Chief Apostle was questions by a panel of youth and led the youth as choir conductor in the hymn 'The Lord is my light'.
