Janitorial Staff

Uniforms for Janitorial staff ( permanent , contractor staff)Safety shoes for contractor Janitorial staff Protective Clothing Lone WorkingLone working should be prohibited across the LCL. Minimum two workers are must .Phone calls For the workers, No phone calls while working .making and/or answering call causes distraction.Working on LIVE Equipment Most likely, not to work on LIVE equipment . If necessary and hazard is within acceptable level, observe safety precaution and ensure Isolation.

Prohibition Speed limits must be followed (20KM/hr). A security person must present to monitor Parking restriction, No parking other than designated area for the bikes as well. Safe parking to be ensured preferably reverse parking.No riding on fork lift and dump trucks.Operator /driver must be license holder, (contractor, company owned vehicle)

Traffic Management Contractor safety management In Project related Job while agreement with contractor , Provision of safety gear must be incorporated in contract terms.

Waste Management (Burning/dumping)Availability of dust bins, burning of waste in bins/drums must be strictly prohibited .Dumping /burning of garbage, away from plant site or sale as such

Safety WalksMonthly, a Safety Walk to carry out workplace inspection, hazard identification and advise as and where necessary to improve working condition.

HSE TrainingMonthly a Class room training on any HSE topic,Fire drills Safety Induction for new joining Circulation of HSE literature via email (HSE_Communication)

Working at heightWorking at height must be accompanied by fall prevention system. a) Fall restrain system like, guard railing b) Fall arrest system like full body harness

Incident reporting, recording and sharingIncident reporting with root cause and preventive action.Do investigation of major accidents (LTI)Sharing of incident across the LCL Pezu for learning via email (HSE_Communication)
