The HRS-R Series of heat exchangers have been developed for more challenging heat transfer applications. Each inner tube contains a scraper bar which rotates at high speed and is fitted with a helical screw, which enhances product flow through the tubes and minimizes pressure drop.
The continuous scraping action enables mixing of highly viscous products whilst also eliminating fouling on the inner tube wall, ensuring the heat transfer area is clean at all times. This mixing action, combined with the helical screw greatly increases heat transfer performance.

SEALING SYSTEM
Spiral blade and scraper design reduces pressure resulting in lower power consumption and energy saving operation.

The HRS-R Series has been developed to work with a single tube or multi tubes inside one heat exchanger shell. Using a single drive motor multiple scraper rods are rotated allowing a large scraped surface area in one HRS-R Series.
