This includes managing recruiting and hiring employees, coordinating employee benefits and suggesting employee training and developing strategies......so he said one one might say In this way, HR professionals are consultants, not workers in an isolated business function. What are the HR roles in building a more competitive organisation?

Collaboration• At all levels of the organization, managers and HR

professionals work together to develop employees' skills. For example, HR professionals advise managers and supervisors how to assign employees to different roles in the organization, thereby helping the organization adapt successfully to its environment. In a flexible organization, employees are shifted around to different business functions based on business priorities and employee preferences.

• Commitment buildingHR professionals also suggest strategies for increasing

employee commitment to the organization. This begins with using the recruiting process or matching employees with the right positions according to their qualifications. Once hired, employees must be committed to their jobs and feel challenged throughout the year by their manager.

• Building CapacityAn HRM team helps a business develop a competitive

advantage, which involves building the capacity of the company so it can offer a unique set of goods or services to its customers. To build the an effective human resources, private companies compete with each other in a "war for talent." Why is it important to train the employees?

Almost everyone who builds a technology company knows that people are the most important asset. Properly run start-ups place a great deal of emphasis on recruiting and the interview process in order to build their talent base. Unfortunately, often the investment in people stops there. There are four core reasons why it shouldn’t:

1. Productivity

2. Performance Management

3. Product Quality

4.Employee Retention

What is motivation acc. to you and why is it important?

Motivation is the psychological feature that arouses an

organism to action toward a desired goal and elicits, controls, and sustains certain goal directed behaviours. For instance: An individual has not eaten, he or she feels hungry, and as a response he or she eats and diminishes feelings of hunger. There are many approaches to motivation: physiological, behavioural, cognitive, and social. Motivation may be rooted in a basic need to minimize physical pain and maximize pleasure, or it may include specific needs such as eating and resting, or for a desired object. Conceptually, motivation is related to, but distinct from, emotion.
