we met Mr. Sachin Bora who is HR Manager of his own company. There we observed

the working of the entire company. Here we tried to study the organizational structure of

the company and also the functions and challenges faced by the Human Resource

    Managers.

When we asked him about his organization structure, he stated that his organization is

formal organization. Since the reporting channels and work relation are pre-defined and

accountability and responsibility are fixed for all the roles. He also told us that in formal

organization there is a basic framework according to which the workflow. Its a flat

organization structure. Since there is a wide span of control and few hierarchical levels,

there are 45 people under the control of one manager and the organizational level are

4.We also asked him that why only these structure the answer which we got is like this

there is wider span of control, its less complex, more efficient, less communication

barrier, builds a strong and wide network of communication and there is a less gap

between the different management. The advantage it has over the tall organization is that

in flat structure business respond faster. Mr. Bora also gave us information saying that its

not always that the organization need to follow the flat structure since it depends on the

organization how big it is and there are other factors also which should be taken intoconsideration such as firm size, production demand, employee capabilities and

    competitive forces.

When we asked him about his functions and the challenges faced by him the feedback
