Review Link

Review Link is the easiest way to encourage patients to write reviews for you on the internet. Review Link works by sending patients directly into the review forms on the sites where you need more reviews. Here’s how to use your Review Link:

1. Customize Your Review Link (optional)

Say, your name is Dr. Good. Your default review link will be something like www.DrStars.com/Good.

You have the option to customize your Review Link if you want. Here are some examples of customizations that you can make:

NOTE: Review Link is not case sensitive. For example, drstars.com/Good is the same as DrStars.com/GoOD—both will work for Dr. Good’s patients.

2. Show Your Review Link to Patients

You can promote Review Link in your email newsletters, by the mail or by mentioning it to patients in your office.

Here is an example of how to introduce Review Link to patients in print materials, like appointment reminder cards:

Where you place Review Link depends on whether your practice is highly outcome based, like a Fertility Clinic, or if patients are generally happy after 1 or 2 visits, like a Dentist. 3. Order Review MiniCards

Only ask select, happy patients for reviews if your practice is largely outcome based.

Pain Management Doctor

Dr. J is a pain management specialist. Patient outcomes vary substantially, as do patient attitudes. Some patients are thrilled to eliminate even a little pain. Some patients are not happy even if the doctor helps a lot.

During the appointment, Dr. J gauges if a patient is happy and if so, writes a smiley face on the patient’s record.

The front office staff sees the smiley face during checkout and asks the patient if they would be willing to recommend Dr. J online. If the patient says yes, the staff give the patient a Review MiniCard.

If patient satisfaction is extremely high across the board, ask every patient for an online review.

Dentist

Dr. L is San Diego’s favorite dentist. Her prices are reasonable. Her staff is friendly and quality of care is top-notch. Dr. L integrates Review Link into her appointment reminder system. Now, patients who receive her appointment reminders—whether it be through email, SMS (text messages) or postcards—are exposed to the doctor’s Review Link.

The simplest way to ask for a review is to hand patients a Review MiniCard.
