HOW TO USE LSMW

What is LSMW?LSMW is one of SAPs !est data "on#ersion and master data "reation tools$ %t is

a#aila!le for most '( master and transa"tional data$ LSMW "an !e )sed for most

"on#ersion and mi*ration tasks and "an !e a""om+lished with standard f)n"tionality$

With a little ABAP "odin*, yo) "an )se LSMW for more "om+le- data "on#ersiona"ti#ities$

The information !elow will walk yo) thro)*h the +ro"ess of "reatin* a sim+le

LSMW$ On"e yo)#e done this yo)ll !e a!le to see how )sef)l the tool "an !e and

how LSMW is the ri*ht "hoi"e for most "on#ersion and mi*ration.



STEPS FOR CREATING AN LSMW.
