    Palette Master E lement software s impl i f ies ca l ibrat ion and re l iab ly produces

    accurate color results . Pa lette Master E lement can be used to f ine tune the color

    eng ine in monitors and suppor ts X-Rite / Datacolor color imeter.

    Check to see that the USB cable i s connected to both monitor and computer.

    Check to see that color imeter is connected to the monitor ’s USB por t .

    The software detects your monitor model automat ica l ly and shows menu opt ions according ly. P lug the color imeter to USB por t and se lect the model name , then c l ick “Check Sensor” to make connect ion.

    Click “Star t” to enter Bas ic mode .

    Default sett ings and prof i les may var y by model . Se lect the des ired Default prof i le , White point and Luminance . After sett ing , c l ick “Next” .

    Se lect target “Cal ibrat ion 1” or “Cal ibrat ion 2” to save the ca l ibrat ion result into the monitor, then c l ick “Star t Measurement” to ca l ibrate monitor. This wi l l take around 7 minutes .

    Fol low the instruct ion to open the sensor for ca l ibrat ion ( i1 Disp lay Pro only) , then c l ick “Cont inue” .

    Before ca l ibrat ing , t i l t the monitor up to ensure that the color imeter snaps onto the monitor.

    Put the color imeter on the screen and match the color imeter image to get best ca l ibrat ion result , then c l ick “Cont inue” to star t ca l ibrat ion.

    Once ca l ibrat ion f in ishes , user can see the shor t ca l ibrat ion repor t for Luminance , Colortemperature and Delta E achieved result .

    Select the des ired Default prof i le , White point and Luminance . After sett ing , c l ick “Next” .

    Exper ienced user can adjust White point , Luminance , Gamma and Black Point according to their demand. After customized user can save the prof i le sett ing by customized naming . I f user wants to delete or change the prof i le names, they can do so by f ind ing the prof i le f i les on Win: C: \Windows\System32\spool \dr ivers\colorMac : \Users\[User Name]\L ibrar y\ColorSync\Prof i les

  • Select target “Calibration 1” or “Calibration 2” to save the calibration result into the monitor, also, if user want to get more precise result, they can change the patch size to “Medium” or “Large”, but will take more time to calibrate. After all settings finish please click “Start Measurement” to calibrate monitor. Before calibrating, tilt the monitor up to ensure that the colorimeter snaps onto the monitor.

  • In Advanced Mode

    After validation, user can know if the calibration result meet the desired Delta E range. Also, if needed, user can export the report as HTML format.
