What is JEE??
In JEE there are two types of exam.
(1)JEE main
(2)JEE advance
JEE main
JEE main have two types of paper:
1. Paper 1
2. Paper 2
(Notice: Candidates may opt for either or both of them.)
JEE MAIN:
(1) paper-1 is for admission in B.E./B.Tech (online and offline).
(2) Paper-2 is for admission in B.Arch and B.Planning (offline only).
13.56 lakh students including 3.16 lakh girl candidates appeared for JEE-Main
exam in 2014.
PAPER 1 (for admission in B.E./B.Tech )
IN JEE PAPER 1 there is a 3 subject maths, chemistry & physics.
In paper 1 every subject have 120 marks.
Total mark of paper is 360 marks.
In paper 1 have a negative marks and every question is 4 marks question.
If you mark wrong answer you have lost your 1 mark in total marks you obtained.

Maths Aptitude Drawing
IN JEE PAPER 2 there is a 3 subject maths, Aptitude & Drawing.
In paper 2 maths :200 marks,Drawing:70 marks,Aptitude:120 marks.
Total mark of paper is 390 marks.
In paper 1 have a negative marks and every question is 4 marks question.
If you mark wrong answer you have lost your 1 mark in total marks you
obtained.
JEE ADVANCED:-
Students who qualified JEE-Mains can appear for JEE-Advanced examination.
Approximately 150,000 students qualify to appear for JEE-Advanced
examination.
1.19 lakh students appeared for JEE Advanced in 2014 out of which 27,152
qualified of which 14,269 i.e. 52.55% qualified from 11 Indian cities.
Why JEE??
Admission in NITs and IITs.
Can able to appear for BITSAT,AIEEE,WBJEE , CAT,GMAT etc.
Develops an individual thought process.
Even if you don’t intend to go to IIT’s , BITs and NITs , or have plans to go
abroad the JEE preparation you undergo will prepare you to tackle 4 year of
engineering with ease and keep you ahead of the pack.
Course Planning
From this year, a screening test is being conducted and so proper planning
becomes all the more important.
Have a look at all the topics and shortlist topics , and months where in you
plan to complete them.
Finishing syllabus at least a month before the exam is essential.

One Day Before:
You need at least 6-8 hours of sleep.
Eat a light meal.
Revise only those topics that you have studied earlier.
You should reach the test center at least half an hour before.
Find out Your Mentor
A mentor who give you proper guidance.
Your friend may be your mentor.
Important Notes
If your examination center is in another city, reach the city positively on the day before the exam.
Never go to the center on an empty stomach.
keep relevant medicine.
Keep a wristwatch, your permission letter, a pen, two pencils, an eraser, a sharpener and transparent water bottle and other relevant stationary.
