How to start learning in OTLE
Setting a password
• You have been sent an email with a link to set your OTLE password. Click on the link to setup a password
• If you have lost the email, email: [email protected] asking them to send you a new link or reset your password to default.

Enter Username <Your student ID>and Password then click Login

Problems Logging On please email OTLE help desk, give your:•Student Id# and name•Course you are enrolled in•Let your course teacher know
Once login, you will enter your Home page in OTLE. This is what you should do in your home page:1. Read any general
news in the News section (left hand side).
2. View the help videos on the right hand side.
3. All the subjects you are enrolled in will be listed on the bottom left (under My Courses). Click into the subject you want to study e.g. DT1000.
Helpful information – See calendar on the bottom right.

After clicking into a subject, you will enter the Course Home page.• Top left – Shows
where you are at (My Home or Course)
• Top right – Alerts and profile section
• Top (next step down) – Icons linking to different pages e.g. Course content, Discussions, etc
• Middle – Guide, Download Course and Assessment Guide, short cut to get started
• News – PLEASE READ for important information
• Content Browser – Quick links to the learning content (where your actual learning starts)

(recommended) OR2. Content (top) to view all the
content in this course OR3. Respective topics under
Content Browser (bottom)
