    How to line the Right Goals to Achieve what we really Want out of Life?

    Well now is a great time of year to start setting goals for

    the coming

    year and put these into practice (forgotten a new years

    ones already?)

    and consequently CREATE YOUR OWN FUTURE.

    What is really important to you right this moment in your

    life? In other words, what do you really value? The

    main headings are: PEOPLE- THINGS- additional , e.g.

    career. Also finances. That word money again!

    Areas of goals :

    These can be divided into quick , medium and

    long-term; these respectively being six months,

    one/two a few years five plus years. Also divide them

    into balanced factors , being: personal, family,

    social and work goals. And then break them down even more into:

    * Spiritual

    * Mental

    * Physical

    * Financial

    * Family

    * Community/School

    Remember that over-concentration on one associated with your

    goals will not ensure accomplishment. A car can only run well

    if the many tyres are inflated towards the correct pressure...

    and when it has four wheels!

    The art of goalsetting would be to balance all of these areas.

    it affects everything else. Your wheel of life should

    be curved evenly and balanced, in order that it gives a

    smooth ride. Unlike mine. Currently my self confidence is

    pathetic; so I am subscribing to "rent-a-friend", as I'm way

    too involved with my work, my producing and spend

    far too much time concentrated on it... Instead of

    having more fun !

    A thought...

    Perhaps isn't it about time I slowed down in my article

    submissions and set a goal of using that point for pure relaxation! how is that for a goal?

    TIPS ON HOW TO ACHIEVE GOALS

    1. Give yourself permission to dream as well as desire. Put

    aside (asmuch since you can ) all reason and common sense. If you

    don't have a target , you have nothing to aim for and

    no plan of action. Without a goalyou are just kicking

    a ball around. Believe creatively by using your

    imagination in setting targets.

    2. Make a learn dream list. It is important to write

    down everything you want and need. Every place you

    want to go and everything you wish to become

    or achieve. These doesn't have to be high ideals, but

    genuine would like , eg. Putting food on the table (most

    important for "starving" copy writers - hint hint, declare no

    more, say no more!), a brand new car, beach house,

    swimming pool, yacht. A "proper job" for

    writers like me, maybe !

    3. Aim high: stretch yourself to your limit as well as you

    will achieve more than you trusted possible. The

    higher the level of informed goals, the greater their encouraging power.

    4. Prioritise your own Goals. Start off with some easy goals

    to get you in the 'habit of achieving'. Know where

    you are now and how you got generally there. (" How the s...

    did i buy where I am now?). Examine yourself and learn

    from people. These goals must be compatible

    with your inner values. Ideals are what we hold to

    be important at the deepest degree of our being. Doing

    this can make them far more likely to be achieved.

    5. Set a time reduce for achieving them. It really is important

    to set a deadline day...but it doesn't have to be "set in concrete". Don't let something continue for

    YOU. Don't allow the future to act on you. Act on

    the long term. Don't see yourself as a helpless victim

    of circumstances, but rather as one having many

    choices to take virtually any path you CHOOSE to move your

    life forward. N.B. Goals should be written down and

    regularly analyzed. This makes for focussing ones

    thoughts and COMMITMENT in experiencing them through.

    Write every goal on a list in addition to being you achieve it, tick it

    off and enter a new target. Act immediately on your

    short-term goals, as only activity will get you there.

    Have stability in your dreams and be trustworthy and

    realistic with yourself. A goal will be either meaningful in

    itself as well as as a means to an end.

    Successful people make things happen and use the

    process of Goal Setting. Consider whether you are

    a goal-setter or goal-getter? You are not because stuck down

    in a rut as you may think. You have far more choices

    than you could ever envision.

    GOALS - THE FIVE important QUESTIONS

    "The important thing is to determine what you need

    to do after which it DO IT!"

    * Which?

    What do you really want? Break down straight into needs

    and wants, e.gary.. Yacht, pool, new car , beach house,

    holiday. Also set tangible and intangible goals.

    If it is not planned, it doesn't take place.

    * When?

    Goals should have a time frame. Long array goals

    should have checkpoints and also a completion date.

    Who? goals involve others :

    # company (the boss, manager)

    # Personal (wife/husband/partner)

    * precisely how ?

    What is the blueprint? you can not build without plans.

    The reason why you must have specific goals. Don't

    A. Involve people.

    B. State goals when it comes to measurable results.

    C. Established target dates.

    D. Become specific.

    Remember that goals are dreams which come true.

    Most people give up on their dreams too soon or,

    like me in the past, don't aim high enough and

    achieve them too very easily and quickly. Except in

    writing!

    I really believe that. This entire organizing process might

    take a few days.

    GOALS

    1. If it's not in writing, it is not a goal. It is a New

    Year solution.

    2. If it's not specific , it's not a goal.

    3. 'Goals must be believable, inspirational and

    expandable'.

    4. An effective goal is definitely an exciting challenge.

    5. Goals must be adjusted to brand-new information.

    6. Dynamic goals guide our choices.

    7. Don't set short-term goals for longer than

    ninety days.

    8. Maintain a balance between long-term and

    short-term goals.

    9. Include your household in your goals.

    10. Established goals in all areas of your daily life.

    11. Your goals must harmonise with your life.

    If you don't break your own yearly objectives down into

    first quarterly and then monthly/weekly/daily activity

    targets, you cannot keep on track. Convention runners

    keep going not by focusing on the whole course,

    but on the next drink train station , the bottom of the hill,

    and when the pain comes, the next lamp post.

    ability to set and achieve goals. Whatever your self-image,

    you project it to other individuals and it becomes a

    self-fulfilling prophecy.

    With a positive attitude ( the main topic of the following

    chapter) and a very good self image, our excitement for

    challenges will be heightened, as well as for life in

    general. This brings about greater job satisfaction, as

    well as living an emotionally healthy life filled with

    meaning and purpose.

    Remember, bad attitudes in other people can

    easily block your goals. I can't expect people to

    understand just what I'm trying to achieve during my personal

    1. Your own goals were not realistic.

    2. Your goals were not apparent and specific.

    3. Your goals were not written in the present tight.

    E.g.. 'I have finally cleared all my short term debts

    and I have saved X$ (as well as pounds')...'I now weigh

    my ideal body weight of...i Well done "Jumbo"!

    4. You weren't really committed to your own goals

    and/or they were not suitable for you.
