1. Find a Fund
- WWW- Fondsenboek/Fondsendisk 2014- www.Finportal.nl- Network: share plans & rejections- Check programs/agenda at big funders- Inform in October- Be happy with a small funder

2. Prepare - What is the objective of the fund?
- Get to know the secretary
- Call. Even better: make an appointment
- Create web presence

3. Write- (Re)write proposal in spirit of fund
- Clearly refer to criteria in proposal (often no format available or only 1 form)
- Add relevant letters of support
- Make clear how the money of this particular fund will be used

4. Budget- Take time to create a clear budget
- Check it with the financial department (& mentioned you did!)
- Make clear how much you already received at other funders
- State at which other funds you also applied & for which amount

- Mention the fund at every publication
