How to: Make walls with different materials or colour bandsYou can use the Profile Manager to make a new wall profile that can have different materials. To do this you

need to go to Design - Complex Profiles - Profile Manager...

Note: You can add any amount of nodes. For this example I only added 2 so therefore I will have 3 edges that I

can change the material of.

Now using the fill tool draw in the width of the wall and add extra nodes where you want the “material” change.

Please note that the cross section of the wall can be any shape that you desire.

Now click on the edge between nodes and change the selection of the pet palette to “Custom Edge Settings”.

Now click on Store Profile and enter a name. You will find this wall under the custom profile wall option.

The result as viewed in 3D

Lastly open the “Wall Default Settings” and change selection to “Complex” wall and draw in walls as usual.
