How to make the spokes using Buckminster Fullers ball
Step 1 You have 1 pentagon surrounding by 5 hexagon
Step 2 Create curves to build a spoke
Step 3 Create a solid spoke

Step 4 Copy rotate 2 more spokes based on hexagon centre.

Step 5 Copy rotate 4 more set of spokes based on pentagon centre.
A pentagon centre
