INGREDIENTS

Flour 2 eggs Grated lime skin Essence Baking powder Salt Milk sugar

A baking pan Hand mixer Tooth pick Big bowl

Place the egg into the bowl and mix them on a high speed until creamy. After a minute, add about 2 tbsp of sugar. Continue to mix for a few minutes more until the mixture becomes thicker.

You can now add the vanilla extract. Keep mixing until the mixture becomes double that of its original volume. Now turn off the machine .

After mixing the wet ingredient add the flour in the mixing bowl gradually while mixing.

Then after adding all the flour, add the baking powder and a pinch of salt.

Keep mixing until a creamy batter texture.

Add the batter in a flour baking pan.

Then heat the oven at 230 degree and place the pan in the oven

Leave the pan in oven about 45 minutes or more until it bake.

Set it aside to cool before removing it from the pan.

Once the cake is totally cooled, take a sharp knife and run it around the outside of the cake.

It is now ready for icing (frosting) or adding jam (jelly), cream and other fillings.
