How to Log or make use of the PIRB Electronic Certificate of Compliance.

Once you have received notification from the PIRB registration office that the PIRB Electronic COC’s are

available on your profile, please follow the guide below on how to make use the PIRB Electronic COC.

1. Log on to the internet and Go to www.pirb.co.za

2. Click on “Log a COC”

3. Insert your username and password. This can be obtained from your registration letter (you can contact

PIRB on 0861 PIRB Plumber / info@pirb.co.za for your login details.)

4.You are now logged in and can start with the logging process.You can go to view my COC Statement under

Plumbing Compliance Certificates.

5. Click on the coc nr it will open page (Certificate Information for Logging).Start completing the COC –

insert the area code where the installation was installed / or worked carried out. If you do not know the area

code, you can make use of the search option on the right hand side.

6. Complete the costumer’s information.

7. Insert the type of installation code.

8. Complete the installation details and non-compliance details of the installation.

9. Then select A or B.

10. Once all the fields have been complete, please click the LOG button on the bottom of the screen.

11. The Declaration screen will appears and you would need to select Decline or Accept. Please note if you

decline the screen will take you back to the Log COC screen.

12. Once accepted, the COC will appear in a PDF format. You can save the COC or a copy will be emailed to

you automatically. If by fault that you did not save or received the emailed COC, you can go to the top of your

page and select Activities and click on Logged Electronic COC to retrieve a copy.
