How to install the icons for Vista/Windows7/Windows 8

Vista/Windows7

1. From your local computer - open your START menu. 2. Open the Control Panel

1. From your local computer – Right Click on your START button.

2. Open the Control Panel

3. Verify “View By:” indicated “Large Icons” or “Small Icons” 4. Locate and select RemoteApp and Desktop Connections

5. In the left pane, click on “Set up a new connection with RemoteApp..”

5. In the top left of the window, click on “Access RemoteApp…”

6. Enter the URL address provided, or use the example provided below in the field requested.

https://vm-XXXX.cloud9realtime.com/RDWeb/Feed/webfeed.aspx Replace XXXX with your server number.

7. Click Next


8. A new window will open to advise you are “Ready to set up the connection”. When this appears, click Next.


9. Enter your Cloud9 login credentials: Cloud9\User.Name • Select Remember my credentials if you would like to have your password remembered. (Not recommended for shared computers)

• IMPORTANT: Remember to enter Cloud9\ before your username.


10. Click on Finish once connection has been established.


11. Select the link View resources.

12. Select the 3 File Folder Icons by left click + Ctrl on each file. Once files are highlighted, right click and select Send to > Desktop.


13. Double click on the desired file to open to connect to your cloud!
