How to install PC Retriever and its USB driver on Windows 7

1., Insert the latest 15.5 version of PC Retriever disk into your CD drive

2., Double click on “PCRetriversetup”

3., Click on “NEXT”

4., Click on “NEXT”

5., Select “YES” and click on “NEXT”

6., Click on “NEXT” again

7., Click on “NEXT” again

8., Select “YES” and click on “FINISH”

9., After restart and login, Connect PC Retriever USB cable to computer (“Installing driver software” comes up but couldn’t finish the install)

10., Click on Left-Bottom corner Start image, Right click on “My Computer – Properties”, Select “Device Manager” and then you can see the orange marked unfinished“PC Retriever Vehicle Interface” USB driver under “Other Devices”

11., Double Click on the PC Retriever USB driver and Select “Update Driver”

12., Select “Browse my Computer for driver software”

13., Select “D” or your CD drive and click “NEXT”

14., Choose “Install this driver software anyway” option

15., When you get the confirmation message then click on “CLOSE”

16., Now Your correctly installed USB driver shows up under “Universal Serial Bus Controllers” folder

17., CONGRATULATION! You have successfully installed the USB driver. Start PC Retriever and type your certificate code in

18., First under “Tools” select “Check for Updates”

19., For this step, your computer has to be connected to the internet! Click on “NEXT”

20.,Download the available firmware updates

21., Click on “INSTALL” in order to activate the downloads

22., Click “OK” to finish the updates
