How to Have Perfect Skin
While some beauty experts may sell you a laundry list of products that they swear will give you perfect skin, the truth remains that
you'll never reach your goal unless you master certain necessary habits. Women who have perfect skin know these rituals and perform
them naturally and effortlessly. You can, too, by observing these simple rules.
Resist the temptation to apply too much moisturizer. Skin experts warn that most
women need only a light coating of moisturizer, applied nightly, to have perfect skin. When an
excess of moisturizer is used that your skin does not need, it simply ends up clogging your pores.
Use a gentle exfoliator several times per week or, at most, only once each evening.
Exfoliators are another overused beauty product that causes damage in excess. Their purpose is to gently scrub off the debris and
carefully remove dead skin. You shouldn't consider exfoliators as sand paper for the
skin that needs constant application.
Apply makeup, moisturizers or any other facial skin care product using your
fingertips. Make light strokes in an upward motion. If your skin ends up like the color of tomatoes when you've finished applying a
skin product, that's a sign that you've worked it too hard.
Keep your hands away from your face. All day long, your hands are in contact with objects that contain bacteria and debris, which can transfer to your face if you let
them.
Pay attention to every object that gets near your face. Then make sure to keep those
objects spotlessly clean. For example, if you have beauty sponges to wash your face, keep those sponges in a sterilized environment so they don't pick up harmful bacteria. Do the
same with the applicators, brushes and makeup sponges you use.
