• These days with a huge increase in people becoming overweight, everybody wants to know how to have a flat stomach. With magazines and television constantly rubbing it in your face, its no wonder that people are desperate to look their best and have a tummy to die for! Lucky for me I found some things you can do to make losing weight a lot less boring and keep you on the path to your fighting fit body.

• 1. Eat healthier, more regularly – this doesn’t mean have a salad for every meal. There are literally thousands of combinations of foods you can eat which are healthy. Don’t starve yourself of food, instead try to eat 5 or 6 small meals a day. And if you’re a fan of junk food like me, use it as a reward for reaching your monthly goals. This way you’ll keep your cravings down whilst staying focused and happy.

• 2. Exercise to suit you – Don’t get bogged down at the gym doing 50 miles on the treadmill, mix it up! Do activities you enjoy, play sports that interest you… cardio work is great for burning fat, but you can use specific stomach exercises to tone up the muscles underneath, so when your fat disappears, your tummy will be trim and toned like in the magazines!

• 3. Don’t give up – Sounds silly but for most the only thing getting in your own way is YOU! Make a plan of how much you want to lose each month and lose it! Then reward yourself for losing it. Weight loss should be fun and rewarding – not a chore!
