#21 CHRIS HARTAssistant Coach10th season (Florida St. ‘03)

- Taylor Black joins the NC State base-ball staff in 2015, an assistant coach occupying the role formerly held by Brian Ward.

- Member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll in 2010 and a 28th round draft pick of the St. Louis Cardinals that same year, Black returned to Kentucky for his senior season in 2011, finishing his col-lege career on a 95-game consecutive start streak.

- Black spent two seasons at Kentucky, emerging as the Wildcats’ starting shortstop in his first season after trans-ferring. In his first year at Kentucky, Black became the first UK shortstop to hit 10 or more homers since 1993.

- Prior to Kentucky, Black spent a year at Spartanburg Methodist College, leading SMC to a conference and dis-trict championship in 2009, and advanc-ing to the JUCO World Series.

- As a freshman at Charleston South-ern, Black hit .333 with 17 doubles, five homers, and 34 RBIs while earning a spot on the Big South Conference Pres-idential Honor Roll.

#34 TAYLOR BLACKAssistant CoachFirst season (Kentucky ‘11)

- NC State baseball named Scott Fox-hall its new pitching coach on June 30, 2014.

- Foxhall joins the NC State staff from Auburn, where he spent the 2014 sea-son as pitching coach and served as the architect of Auburn’s most recent recruiting classes. His last four class-es have been ranked in the Top 25 nationally, peaking with a ninth-place ranking ahead of the 2013 season. Last year, Foxhall pieced together the 13th-best class in the NCAA.

- One of those young talents, Auburn’s Keegan Thompson, finished the year as a Freshman All-American pitcher and All-SEC performer.

- In 17 years as a collegiate coach, Foxhall has seen 29 of his pitchers selected in the MLB Draft, including seven in the first 10 rounds. He’s also improved the draft status of pitchers under his tutelage by an average of 28 rounds. All seven players Foxhall has placed in the first 10 rounds were un-drafted prospects out of high school.

#22 SCOTT FOXHALLPithcing CoachFirst season (CofC ‘94)

- Took over as the Wolfpack’s lead recruiter in 2010, immediately signing the No. 4 ranked class in the country, featuring 2011 MLB Draft picks Carlos Rodon, Trea Turner, and Brett Austin

- With Hart on the field, the Wolfpack has produced 11 position players who received All-ACC honors and 13 who have signed professional contracts

- During his career at Florida State, Hart played every position on the field except for pitcher and center field. In all, Hart played 195 games for the Semi-noles, starting 116 and batting .271 with 23 doubles, two triples, seven home runs and 72 RBIs. Hart’s four Florida State teams (1999, 2001-03) each appeared in the NCAA Super Regionals. The Semi-noles advanced to the College World Series in 1999 and 2000

Official capacity is listed as 3,051.- In 2013, the Wolfpack routinely outdrew capacity, setting a new stadium re-cord with 3,123 in attendance on April 27 against North Carolina.- State drew 62,170 total fans at an average of 1,884 per game in 2013, both program records. - Six of the top seven single game attendance figures, and three of the top six for three-game series happened in 2013.- Doak Field at Dail Park’s locker room, training room, and player lounge re-ceived a facelift in 2014. On-field renovations included a state-of-the-art batters’ eye and a reworked bullpen. - Updates for 2015 include resurfacing of the playing field, and removal of the poles that previously obstructed the views of spectators.
