1. From an internet browser URL (Firefox, Internet Explorer 9 or higher, Google Chrome, or Safari) type: uofm.ventis.ca 2. Enter your username & password that was provided to you by your Department/PGME Office.

3. Click "Login".

4. Once you have logged in, the following landing page Dashboard will open. Click on “SetUp” (on the Top Tab)

5. You will be taken to a blank page with new menu along the left side of the page. Click on “Departments” (on the left menu) & then “Specialty Programs” or “Subspecialty / Stream” (from the drop down menu on the left side).

6. After clicking on the “Specialty Programs” or “Subspecialty / Stream” (from the drop down menu on the left side), a list view of programs will appear, Click on “Edit” button to the right of your Program.

7. “Pencil” icon = for editing the information of the assignment. Click on the pencil icon next to the assignment you wish to edit.

- “ X” icon = for removing the assignment.

8. The Assignment modal will open for you to edit the information.

9. Edit the information (in the modal) you want. For example: Name Change or: "All Day" Yes/No - Yes = indicating it is an all day assignment. If this option is selected, you will NOT be able to set the Start & End Time of the assignment (as it is set as All Day assignment).

- No = indicating it is NOT an all day assignment. If this option is selected, you will be able to set the Start & End Time of the assignment.

10. If the “No" option is selected in the “All Day” box (the “No“ box will have the black outline around it): Click in the "Start Time" field, A clock hour and minute drop down will open; they are defaulted to 00:00 and function as a 24 hour clock.

11. Click on the hour up arrow to get the time you want to set up (i.e. 09:00). The Start Time field will now be populated.

12. Click in the “End Time" field, A clock hour and minute drop down will open; they are defaulted to 00:00 and function as a 24 hour clock.

13. Click on the hour up arrow to get the time you want to set up (i.e. 16:00). The End Time field will now be populated.

* If the “Yes" option is selected in the “All Day” box (the "Yes" box will have the black outline around it), you will NOT be able to set the Start & End Time of the assignment (as it is set as an All Day assignment).

14. After editing the information, Click on the green “Save” button.

15. The modal will close. You will see a green message at the top of the page indicating your entry was saved. You will now see the assignment with the edited information.

- an "all day" assignment : the column “All Day” = Yes (without a time for Start & End Time)

Or - with a Start & End Time (if you set it with the Start & End time in previous steps) . The column “All Day” does not have the Yes.
