The slideshow should consist of at least five slides.
Follow the instructions that appear on the next several slides and model your presentation that follows the instruction.
First Slide
The first slide is the title slide.Type the category title, “Landforms of the
United States”, in the title area using a different font and color for it.
Type the subtitle for this slide, America’s “Natural Wonders”, using another font but in black.
Insert a picture of your choice illustrating a general landform.
Second Slide
The second slide should contain the name of your chosen landform in the title area.
The general definition of the landform should appear in the text area, for example, if you chose Sonoran Desert, then the definition should be what a desert is.
Next Several Slides
The next several slides should contain the six interesting facts you researched for the “Triarama”.
The facts should be bulleted, using a bullet of your own choice.
Create as many slides as you need to include you facts.
Final Slide
Research and choose an interesting picture of your chosen landform.
Insert the picture into the last slide of your presentation.
Remember to use the name of your chosen “natural wonder” as the title of the slide.

Landforms of the United States
America’s “Natural Wonders”
oA Basin is a low, bowl-shaped land with higher ground all around.
o The Great Basin is a large area of mostly dry land between the Rocky Mountains on the east and other mountains farther west.
o It is the largest desert in the United States and covers an area of about 190,000 square miles.
o The Great Basin is part of the “Intermountain Region” which is marked by some other physical features like valleys, canyons and plateaus.
o This is a “cool desert” due to its more northern latitude as well as higher elevations.
o Typical shrubs in the area are Big Sagebrush, Blackbrush, Shadscale, Mormon-tea and greasewood.
o There are only occasional yuccas an very few cactus.
o The Colorado Plateau, centered in northeastern Arizona, is sometimes included in the Great Basin.
