How to Create Recipe Cards in Picmonkey I’ve created the recipe card templates that coordinate with the printable recipe cards I shared in my Monthly Meal Plan post. To show you how to add your own recipes to these templates, I’ve put together a quick tutorial using Picmonkey, a free photo editing program available online. First, you’ll need to download the recipe card templates . Then, head over to PicMonkey to get started. Open the folder on your computer that contains the recipe card templates, then drag and drop one into the Picmonkey editing program. Now it’s time to add text to your recipe card. 6:((77($$1'6$9,1**5$&(%/2*&20

How to Create Recipe Cards in Picmonkey

I’ve created the recipe card templates that coordinate with the printable recipe cards I shared in my Monthly Meal Plan post. To show you how to add your own recipes to these templates, I’ve put together a quick tutorial using Picmonkey, a free photo editing program available online. First, you’ll need to download the recipe card templates. Then, head over to PicMonkey to get started.

Open the folder on your computer that contains the recipe card templates, then drag and drop one into the Picmonkey editing program.

Now it’s time to add text to your recipe card.

Click the “Tt” on the left sidebar and you’ll see a loooooong list of possible text options. The ones with the crown symbol next to them are available only on the paid service, but there are tons of free fonts available. You can also click “Yours” at the top of the text options and it will show you the fonts on your computer. I have the paid Picmonkey service, so one of the fonts in my recipe cards is part of the paid version. However, you can choose whichever fonts you like. If you’d like to match my recipe cards exactly, here are the fonts I used:

To add text, simply click on the font you want to use, then click “Add Text”. A text box will appear on your image, allowing you to drag it to the correct location, resize it, change the colors, etc. Just type into the text box and personalize it to your liking!

To match the recipe cards I’ve already given to you in the Monthly Meal Plan post, here are the color codes:

All of the ingredients & recipe steps are in black. Add your title, ingredients and recipe, then save your masterpiece and print out your 4x6 recipe cards.

Go HERE to see the Monthly Meal Plan post and print all of the recipe cards I share there. Any questions? Feel free to drop me a line! Email me at [email protected]
