How to create greeting cards and print at home – Quarter-Fold 1. Once you open the My Memories Suite software, choose the Design icon.
2. Under the Greeting Cards category, choose 4.25”x5.5” for a portrait card.
3. Now that your project is open, you will see that there are exactly 4 pages available. You will need exactly 4 pages for your project, so make sure you do not add or delete any pages. Note: We have included our My Memories branding on the back cover. You may choose to leave that branding there or to remove it. It is up to you.
4. Remove the trim area. This trim area is for our printing services and since you are printing at home, these will not apply to you. Remove them from the View menu at the top of your software.
5. Design your pages using the tabs in the Control Panel located on the right hand side of the software. Note: Because of the way you are going to fold your project after printing, you will need to design your pages in a specific order: Page 1 – Inside, right page Page 2 – Inside, left page Page 3 – Back cover Page 4 – Front cover
6. Once you have completed designing your pages, you can print your project by opening the Share tab in the control panel and clicking on the Print icon.
7. Once you press print, the Print Options dialogue should appear. On the top right-‐hand side choose the More Settings tab.
8. In the Position area, change the setting from Center to Custom and then change all those values (Left, Right, Top, and Bottom) to 0.0
9. Right below that, change the Images per Page from 1 to 4.
10. In the top right-‐hand side click on the Select Pages tab.
11. Using the arrows on the bottom right-‐hand side of each page, use both buttons to flip pages 1 and 2 both vertically and horizontally.
12. Now that you are finished editing the printing settings, press Print. Once your project has printed, hold your printed page so the front and back cover are on the bottom.
13. Make a horizontal fold in the middle of your project, so now you are only looking at the front and back covers, with the inside pages behind them.
14. Now make a vertical fold in the middle of your project so the outside covers stay on the outside and your inside pages are folded inside the card and you’re finished!
