How to Create Google Forms with Tyler Brand In order to begin this tutorial, you will need to login to myTyler and access your Tyler/VCCS Gmail account.

Once gmail is open, you can access Google Drive from the icon at the top right.

You can also access it directly via this link: https://www.google.com/drive/. Once Google Drive is open, select the New button on the top left, then scroll down to “More >” and then click “Google Forms”

Then replace the title “Untitled form” with the name of your form and click the Customize Theme icon at the top of your screen, which you can see in the screenshot on the next page of this document.

Once The Theme Options screen is open, select “Choose image…”

Once this screen opens, select “Upload photos” on the bottom left of the menu. In order to upload the image to your Google account, you must first download the “Print (original)” version of the image from the Tyler Asset Bank: https://dam.jtcc.edu/asset-bank/action/viewAsset?id=10344 and either drag the image onto the screen or click the “Select a photo from your computer” button to select that image.

Be sure to drag the corner cropping tools so that they cover the full image.

Once the full image is covered, click the “Select” button.

Next, click the plus sign icon to add a theme color in the Theme Color section. NOTE: This must be done after the header image has been uploaded or it will be reset to the default color which is the first color in the list whenever the image is uploaded..

Type in the official Tyler burgundy color HEX code which is #660033 as seen below and click “Add” link to add it to the theme colors list and make it the selected color.

Once you have the burgundy set up, you can then select the last Background color option which should be #f6f6f6 as shown below. NOTE: This must be done after the header image has been uploaded and the background color has been selected or it will be reset to the default color which is the first color in the list whenever the image is uploaded.

Congratulations! Your theme has now been set up in the official Tyler format and you can click the big “X” to exit Theme Options and start building out your form.
