How to Create a Public Profile and Appear on the Lead Instructors List

A. Prerequisite to creating a Public Profile and Appearing on the Lead Instructor List

Only those individuals who have become FSPCA Lead Instructors may be visible on the Lead Instructor List. Note, a Lead Instructor “Candidate” who has been approved to take the Lead Instructor Course is not considered a “Lead Instructor” until that person has passed the Lead Instructor Course, and received a FSPCA Lead Instructor Certificate.

Click on “Login.”

B. All FSPCA Lead Instructors should verify that the FSPCA Community Platform has validated their Lead Instructor Status

1. To determine if the FSPCA Community Platform has validated your Lead Instructor Status, you must first login to the FSPCA Community https://fspca.force.com/FSPCA/s/.

2. Click the down arrow adjacent to your name, and then select “My Profile.”

Click then down arrow, and then select “My Profile.”

3. The FSPCA Community Platform has validated your Lead Instructor Status, and considers you a “Lead Instructor,” when –

a. The Status field contains any of the following values: i. “Lead Instructor (Human Foods),” orii. “Lead Instructor (Animal Foods),” or iii. “Lead Instructor (FSVP),” oriv. “Lead Instructor (IA),”

AND

b. One of the corresponding Certificate Number fields contains a value:i. Certificate Number (Human Foods) ≠ Null, orii. Certificate Number (Animal Foods) ≠ Null, oriii. Certificate Number (FSVP) ≠ Null, oriv. Certificate Number (IA) ≠ Null.

4. If the conditions mentioned above have been met, the FSPCA Community Platform has validated your status as a Lead Instructor, and you may now create a Public Profile and appear on the Lead Instructor List. If these conditions have not been met, but you have taken the Lead Instructor Course, and have been issued a Lead Instructor Certificate, please contact the FSPCA by Submitting a Case, and the issue will be resolved within 5 business days.

In the example above, the Profile’s Status field = “Lead Instructor (Human Foods)” AND the Profile’s Certificate Number (Human Foods) field contains the value of “123yyyzz.” Since both conditions have been met, the FSPCA Community Platform has validated the user’s Lead Instructor Status, and the user may now create a Public Profile, and appear on the Lead Instructor List.

C. Creating a Public Profile and Appearing on the Lead Instructor List

1. From your Profile Page, click the “Edit” Button.

Click on the “Edit” Button.

2. Scroll down, and check the box under “Make Profile Public.” You may also update your Country and State of residence if you choose.

You may update your Country, and State of residence if you choose.

3. You may update your North American Travel Range, your Expertise, and your International Travel Range if you choose. Once you have completed updating your Profile, click the “Save” Button.

Select or update your North American Travel Range.

Select or update your Expertise.

Select or update your International Travel Range.

Click the “Save” Button when you are done updating your profile.

4. To view your Public Profile on the Lead Instructor List, click on the “Lead Instructor List” tab.

Click on the “Lead Instructor List” tab to view your Public Profile on the Lead Instructor List.

5. Your name now appears on the Lead Instructor List. Note, by specifying your Country, State, Expertise, North American Travel Range, and International Travel Range, your Public Profile appears more complete on the Lead Instructor List.

By making your Profile public, your name now appears on the Lead Instructor List.
