What is JA – YE and which are the benefits of cooperation for

JCI? • JA-YE is an educational program meant to

give youth in the age between 16 and 20 the knowledge, experience and understanding of establishing and managing their own company, as well as the terms and conditions for such a venture.

• By networking with YE in your region JCI will receive new and active business oriented members and get development opportunity for many local and national coaches.

What is the MentorProgram?

• A four step program running over one year (from Oct. to May). The main objective is to guide the young entrepreneurs in their career-struggle, and reinforce their energy in a positive and desirable direction.

• From the applications we receive from the students we choose approx. 20 participants (need to be the MD’s of their respective companies).

How to find your local JA – YE organization?

• Contact Area D director Zsolt Feher (zfeher@jci.cc) if you do not have your country’s JA-YE contact name/email address

Step One

• Download and read the full introduction article to the MentorProgram at www.jcn.no/mentor

• Contact the leader of your country’s JA – YE national organization and make an appointment with them. Tell them about the cooperation agreement with JCI and the mutual benefits of starting up the MentorProgram.

• Try to find a strong project leader with interest in education, coaching and entrepreneurship.

• Call interested members and potential members to form a project group making most out of each persons strengths and personal objectives.
