How to access the WMS Administrator Website

To Print Tickets

1. Select the required ticket setting profile and the ticket layout. These settings are preconfigured and can be modified as requested.

2. For a single ticket

click on or for multiple tickets, type in the number of tickets required and click on

.

3. Click on printer

button on the top to

print the ticket via Crystal Reports.

Note: If you are printing a ticket for the very first time, the Crystal Reports Print Control will be loaded on your computer as a browser

extension. Please speak to your IT department to gain Administrative rights required to install Crystal Reports Print Control.

4. A print setup window will appear, then select your printer and click on Print to print your

generated tickets.

Note: Tested with IE11 and Firefox v31. Chrome will offer to ‘Print to PDF’ instead of presenting the “Print setup” window.

To Generate Usage Reports Only available for admins

1. Select the site you need to generate reports for.

2. Type in or select the start and end date for

the query. 3. Click Create.

4. Crystal Reports will then fetch the reports and will be displayed on a separate window. Reports include:

Ticket Customisation – Ticket Layouts Only available for admins 1. Click on Ticket layouts to

add/modify/remove configured ticket layouts. 2. Click on Add new layout to add a new pre-set layout for tickets. Note: Default Ticket layouts can be specified per user in the “User Management” tab. 3.

Type in Layout name, Printer output (A4 or 80mm receipt roll, Ticket title text, Ticket footer text. 4. Click on Browse to upload a new logo. 5. Click Save once all details required are filled

in. This layout can then be selected when

printing new tickets. 6. To edit the layout, find the layout name required to be edited and click on Edit. Fill out the same text fields as required.

7. To delete the layout, find the layout name require to be deleted and click on Delete.

Ticket Profiles – Ticket templates Only available for admins

1. Click on Ticket login profiles to add/modify/delete ticket login profiles.

2. Click on Add new profile to add a new ticket template. 3. Type in Template name, the required Time credit and Ticket lifetime on each ticket in minutes, hours or days, Download limit in MB, guaranteed DL (Download)

and UL (Upload) Min and Max Bandwidth in Kbps and Maximum Outbound Connections. 4. Click Save once all details

required are filled in. This template can then be selected when printing new tickets. 6. To edit the template, find the

layout name required to be edited

and click on Edit. Fill out the same

text fields as required.

7. To delete the template, find the template name require to be deleted and click on Delete.

Miscellaneous Admin Features Show All Tickets

This windows shows all tickets generated, their allocated time, data and bandwidth usage. It also includes details on ticket last login, expiry and creation.

User Management Create users to manage

the wireless hotspot system. Only three user roles are currently available, Admin, Ticket Printing

only, Kiosk user. Only Admin users can access Reports, Ticket

Layouts, Ticket Login Profiles, MAC Bypass and User Management.

MAC Bypass

Configure devices to bypass the hotspot login system. This is only applicable to

ticketed setups. 1. Click on Add new

MAC to add a MAC bypass.

2. Type in the MAC address, Description and Ticket Policy and press save.

3. Click Save once all

details required are

filled in.

Appendix 1 – Interpreting the WMS Report

Hotspot Traffic Usage

Downloaded - Amount of data received by wireless users expressed in Megabytes. Uploaded - Amount of data sent by wireless

users expressed in Megabytes. Connected – Cumulative amount of time that wireless users spent connected to the hotspot.

Hotspot logins - Total logins to the hotspot for this

site. Note: Every time a user has to go through the hotspot landing page is counted as a

hotspot login. Devices - Number of unique devices logging into the hotspot based on MAC address.

Note: Unique devices are counted per day. For example, if an iPad is used to access the hotspot on the 1st of July and then the same device logged in again on the 2nd of July.

When you generate a report including the dates 1st and 2nd of July, the iPad will be counted twice in the reports because it logged on to the hotspot on two different days. Hospot Logins per hour The Total number of logins grouped by the hour.

Hotspot Session Closures A graphical representation of the most common session closure reason for hotspot devices.

User-Request - User logged out of hotspot Idle-Timeout - Inactivity timeout reached Session-Timeout - Time limit for ticket has been reached Lost-Service - User disconnected from hotspot without logging out Lost-Carrier - Internet or hotspot server unavailable

Top 20 Downloaders by MAC Address MAC Address - A unique identifier for each network device. Download - Amount of data received by the wireless user expressed in Megabytes. Uploaded - Amount of data sent by the wireless user expressed in Megabytes. Tickets - the number of times the wireless user logged into the hotspot. Total duration - Total amount of time that the wireless user spent connected to the

hotspot.

Top 20 Downloaders by Tickets Ticket - Username used to login to the hotspot. Note: In non-ticketed setups, the MAC Address is used as the username for the session like in the screenshot. Date - Date and time when the hotspot session started

MAC Address - A unique identifier for each network device.

Total Duration - Total amount of time that the wireless user spent in the hotspot session.
