HOW TO ACCESS STUDENT EMAIL

1. Go to Dadeschools.net 2. Click on Students.

3. Click on Login to Student Portal.

3. Your login is your Student ID # (7 digits with a 0) and your Password is birthday MMDDYY first initial and last initial. For example: If my name is Abraham Lincoln and my birthday is January 09, 2008, my password would be 010908al

4. Click on Apps | Services | Sites

5. Click on M-DCPS Student Email.

6. Sign in is your email address which is your student number (all seven

digits)@dadeschools.net

7. Reenter your email (student#@dadeschools.net) and your password MMDDYY first

name initial and last name initial.

HOW TO SEND AN EMAIL USING DADESCHOOLS EMAIL ACCOUNT

1. Click on New Message.

2. In “To” write teacher’s email ([email protected]). In “Add a subject” write

the name of the assignment.

3. You can then write your message.

4. If you are ready to send your message, click SEND. If you want to attach an

assignment skip to step 5.

5. To attach an assignment, click the paper clip and select one of the two options

depending where you saved your assignment.

6. Select your assignment and click “Open.” This will attach the document to the email.

7. Double check that your assignment is attached and click “Send.”

YOU DID IT!!! YOU JUST SENT AN EMAIL WITH AN ATTACHMENT!!!
