Erase initial pencil lines!
Trace around pencil lines to form a shape, but don’t touch the initial line.
In pencil, write a word large with letters spread out. Capital letters are easiest when learning.

It’s okay if letters overlap! It makes them look more 3d!
for letters with a “hole” in them, don’t forget to draw the negative space (For letters like A, B, D, etc...)
To make your letters look 3-D, add a shadow tothe sides directly opposite of the light source
if the light is coming from the top right,then the shadow would be in the bottom left
a chistle chip marker worksgreat for a drop shadow!

Draw a highlight on the top corner of each part of the letter facing the light source.
It can be a single or double highlight!
