What does an inveter do?
An inverter is the one that is capable of converting DC power to AC power. Solar panels which we usually use produces AC power an the batteries store DC power. However, appliances run on AC, similarly as power grid does.
This is the only reason why all solar systems and batteries requires an inverter. There is a major use of solar power systems in Indonesia by which people tend to save money by a great downfall in the electricity bills.
Types of Solar Inverters......
There are mainly two types of solar inverters which are as follow:
1. String inverters : String inverter is the one in which solar panels are attached together to form a string. In this DC power is brought down from the string into the inverter and from here it is converted into AC.
2. Micro inverters: As its name specify, it is used to convert the power of one or two solar panels into AC ans are attached to the back of a solar panel.
Hybrid Solar inverter
Earlier off-grid solar system uses a simple battery that use to convert DC power to Ac power to supply your home. But now with the advancement in technology, a new type of inverter is available known as hybrid solar inverter.
There inverters are highly efficient and economical as these allow us to store solar or peak off energy which can be used during peak times. If you require a solar inverter which is capable of supplying your entire home when the grid is low then you must go for these without any second thought.
