How SaneBox knows what’s important
People frequently ask how we determine
whether or not an email is important.
So how do we do it?
Our algorithms look at 3 separate indicators.
The Magic of SaneBox
#1Your past interactions
We move all of the unimportant emails into the SaneLater
folder and leave your important emails in your inbox.
Which emails you opened/responded to in the
past
and how quickly you opened them
How often you interact? How far back? Etc.,
etc., etc.
If you never open emails from a sender,
we assume you don’t want them in your
inbox.
Which interactions?
#2The subject line
SaneBox never takes possession of your emails.
We only analyze headers to determine what’s important.
The importance of each email is determined
by keywords in the subject line.
Our algorithms never look at the content
or body of an email
Details of your emails never stay on our
servers
Just the subject line?
#3 How you train

You can view and edit all the contacts you trained
in your SaneBox account here
