How it all started!Our passion for seafood began in the Alaskan fishingindustry. After moving to the Eastern Shore we tried ourhand at growing clams. Yup, we started by sellingclams out of a truck on the side of the road!Demand grew and The Great Machipongo ClamShack was born!

In 2005, we moved from our original little shop to therestaurant you're sitting in! Thanks to all those whohave helped over the years with their smiles andservice to make the Shack the unique place it is!
