Case Study The Project consists essentially of:

•Complete demolition and reconstruction of the wharves and piers structures, including deck slab, transverse beams, fascia panel, pile caps, hotel stations and utility tunnels.

•Removal of ship lift platform, refurbishment and reinstatement on completion of civil works.

•Load testing of piles.

•Injection of cracks in the piles.

•Re-skinning/local repair of all the piles followed by the re-instatement of the concrete surface using GFRP as a permanent formwork.

•Removal, supply and re-installation of all mechanical and electrical equipment and services

•Dredging works in the vicinity of the wharves and piers to remove excess silting and debris from demolition works

•Demolition and re-construction of dry dock foundation (3 No.)

•Re-construction to areas of concrete pavement in dry dock area

•Re-construction of re-skinning/local repair of the service trenches SRF area, including replacement of trench covers.
