The Last Songhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Bmuzr8K5ak

In this trailer, the film artist has used Mise-en-scene and created the impression that the film is emotional and that it shows points of good and bad. The main point being that the main location being on a peaceful beach and coast side. Also because the brother and father are also a main character in this film, it means that they have an affect on the two main characters (Ronnie and Will) which causes problems during the film. The lighting in the trailer seems to be dark when something emotional or exciting is happening, e.g. when Ronnie first sees Will.

The Lucky One

This trailer is the same genre as the trailer I want to create this year in Media which is Romantic drama. The Mise-en-scene in this film trailer gives the impression that just like other romantic dramas that it is an emotional love story between a girl and a boy. The lighting at the start is dark when it shows clips of Logan fighting in Iraq which shows darkness and negativity of the situation. The location of the film is in many different places, from a war zone, to a peaceful country house, which could synchronize together to show the ups and downs of this film. Beth’s hair and makeup shown in the trailer is natural and simple, which is what her character when she is with Logan.

This film film trailer is the same genre as the trailer I want to create this year in Media which is Romantic drama. The film artist has created the impression that the film is emotional as well as romantic and the Mise- En Scene has shown this. For example in the trailer, a hospital appears as one of the scenes and from the characters facial expressions, which represent a upsetting time. Also in the trailer as the clips cut from one to another, it flashes black as if to show the darkness of the emotions.
