The digipak

The digipak follows the theme we have in out video. The natural background of the trees and the dream catcher shows the quirkiness of the video, and shows the setting of the video is outdoors. inside

outside

We used a picture of myself and Georgia (who plays Rosie) holding a camera as the cover photo and on the inside cover we places Polaroid shots of us on different locations on the video. This pulls together the theme of the song and video. This being two friends, and their memories together.

The bright colours of the digipak suggest that the music is upbeat and bubbly, instead of dark colours suggesting slower and darker music.

The images we used for the digipak were all taken during filming. This tied the video and digipak together, and would also give the person buying the song an idea of what the music video would be like by looking on the cover,

We faded the photos in the digipak so the photos look ages, giving the impression that they are going back in time with the memories of the song and video.

The magazine advert

We used the same image from the front of the digipak for our poster, as we thought people buying the digipak would know what to look for if there were similarities between the poster and the digipak.

The font used was a graffiti one found on the internet as the background of the photo is a wall so we believed it would be best to have a type of writing that is commonly found on walls.

We picked out some bright colours on the photo and highlighted the accessories to make the brightness similar to what it is on the digipak

We also continued with the camera theme.

There are a few differences between our digipak and our poster:

• The font does not stay the same through both texts however, they both fir the text in which they have been placed.

• The colours of both texts are different as one used colour more than the other, the poster is full of colour and is bright, when the poster is black and white with only a few dashes of colour. The bright writing against the black and white background catches the eye more and would do a better job on advertising the artist. Also, the brightness of the digipak altogether would also attracting an audience.
