Our Policy

Our mix of Eastern and Western educational philosophies in our

Kindergartens builds the academic, intellectual and

personal foundations of our students.

This begins in our early years education and carries through

our primary and secondary schools.

YCIS believes in providing a well

The Kindergarten stages

• This will often be a child’s first experience of school. • Teachers focus on bilingual language skills and communication

by using story books, play, and “show and tell” activities

• Creative and emotional skills are built in this stage through play and problem solving challenges.

• Independence is also encouraged in this stage.

• Continued development from stages 2 and 3. • Stories are used in our literacy syllabus. • Preparation for primary school begins in the last 3 months.
