Houston, Texas

I am doing my final project on Houston, Texas. Houston is the 4th largest city in the United

States and there are many interesting attractions that I will tell you about, but most

importantly it’s My hometown.

The AstrodomeThe Astrodome was the first indoor sports stadium to be built. It was home to the Oilers and the Astros. Being the first of its kind in 1965, some consider it the 8th Wonder of the World. Unfortunately we have a new baseball park and football stadium so the Dome resorts to the home to random high school games and monster truck rallies.

The Galleria• The Galleria is the largest mall in

Texas and the 7th largest in the nation, although the area is used for more than just shopping. 3 million square feet and close to 400 stores anchored by Neiman Marcus, Tiffany’s, Nordstrom, and Saks Fifth Avenue it is a huge hot spot for any tourist or attractive girl.

NASA

• Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center is NASA’s center for human spaceflight activities. In other words this is where the astronauts train. Constructed in 1963 and renamed 10 years later. My grandfather and other members of my family worked at NASA during many of the original launches, it is definitely a place to see.

• Freebirds is the most amazing, world class display of a Burrito factory in North America. They have other things, but the signature move is the Super Monster, beats a chipotle burrito by 100 % +. That’s right, all you east coast people, it gets bigger than that. The super monster more than doubles chipotle burritos and you get a shirt if you finish it.

This Project

• I did not understand anything about how to make a website before I did this. When I sat down to make it, it seemed like I was on the right track until I had to put everything together. My Hyperlinks to my powerpoint and other documents were not working, that was annoying. The applet and movie were simple compared to the hyperlink nonsense.
