SEPTEMBER 2012

CBS Studio Center has been the site of such legendary shows as The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Seinfeld, and Will & Grace, and now, there’s a new classic on the lot: Hot In Cleveland.

Hot In Cleveland debuted as the most-watched cable sitcom premiere ever. Not too shabby considering it aired on a network that wasn’t known for original shows. In fact, Hot In Cleveland was TV Land’s fi rst original, scripted series. Now, of course, TV Land houses some of the funniest shows on television, like The Exes, Retired At 35, Happily Divorced, and most recently, The Soul Man. But, as we all know, you never forget your fi rst.

In Hot In Cleveland, show runner Suzanne Martin (Ellen, Frasier), executive producers Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner (Hazy Mills Productions), and the TV Land team have constructed a show that embodies the reason we all love television sitcoms. It’s 22 minutes of comedy, heart, and plain ol’ fun that allow people to take a break, unwind, and simply laugh.

Valerie Bertinelli (One Day At A Time), Jane Leeves (Frasier), Wendie Malick (Just Shoot Me), and of course, Betty White (The Golden Girls) are also no strangers to the comedy game. They’ve been making us laugh for years (with them, at them, you name it). Put them all together in one show, and they’re like the Fantastic Four… if the Fantastic Four wore heels, drank wine, and bedazzled their uniforms.

It’s apparent to anyone who watches the show how much fun the actors are having on camera, but what many don’t realize is how much fun everyone on the cast and crew is having off camera. Many staffers have said it’s one of the most supportive and caring places they’ve ever worked. From the executive producers and actors to the production assistants, there’s an unmistakable sense of camaraderie. It’s the
