• Founded by Mr. P.D. Hinduja as an Out-patient Clinic

• National Hospital came into being with 30 beds; the bed strength gradually went Upto 70.

• National Hospital shifted to a new two storey building with 100 beds.

• National Hospital was renamed as "P.D. Hinduja National Hospital and Medical Research Centre"

• The new 300 beds Tertiary Care Hospital complex was commissioned.

• A new plot, adjacent to East Block, was purchased to provide accommodation to doctors & nurses.

• Augmentation of beds: Additional 36 beds are augmented on first and second floor of Lalita Girdhar Hinduja Building(S1).

• Emergency Medical Services (EMS): Integrated emergency response system, using GPS tracking, Single number, Multiple hospital network.

• The Hinduja Hospital Poison and Drug Information Centre: Serves the citizens of Mumbai by providing accessible poison and medication related emergency information, monitoring advice, details on side effects, adverse drug reaction and required lab tests. It also provides information on poisons and toxins, their prevention, the safe and proper use of medications using the Micromedix databases for Poisons and Drugs.

• Promote Organ Transplantation

• Homecare Services: Include home collection of lab samples, nursing assistance

• Call Centre: 1st centralized hospital call centre for scheduling appointments
