Leavers’ Assembly

Year 6 said an emotional goodbye to the

school with poems, songs, memories and

top tips. They were presented Bibles, cour-

tesy of the Lamberhurst Strict Baptist

Chapel and dictionaries kindly donated by

the Paddock Wood and District Lions. We

wish all our leavers a happy and successful

time at secondary school and beyond!

Reception Graduation

Reception Class graduated this week with

delightful songs and a hug from their

Year 6 buddies!

Year 5 Samba Drumming

Year 5 had a fabulous finish to their

Brazil topic this week with an after-

noon of Samba drumming. Loco Fogo

came in and led the children in some

wonderfully noisy carnival-style

drumming!

Children’s Disco

Legacy Lego

Well done to winners Evan and Theo (Year 1) and Joe W (Year 6). Also well done to Lenny and Chris who organised this competition to raise funds for the Legacy. They raised £15!

Holiday Quest Club

I am holding a fun club in the holidays following on from

Quest Club but open to everyone. Children can

play games, make crafts and listen to a short talk about

God. There will also be a drink of squash and a home

made cup cake which children will decorate themselves. If

you would like your child to come just drop them off at

the school, just inside reception, at 10 am and pick them

up at 12pm on Tuesday 25th July and Tuesday 1st Au-

gust. If you want to know more please see Mrs Hart Dyke

or call Sheila on 07506929674.

Staff Leavers

We say goodbye today to Mrs Beaney who has been a dedicated

Midday Supervisor for 20 years; to Mrs Mewett who has been a

highly popular Teaching Assistant across the school; to our

wonderful Year 5 teacher Mrs Whittingham who goes on to

Cranbrook Primary School and Mrs Fowler who has been a fan-

tastic Acting Deputy Headteacher and now moves on to Bid-

borough Primary School.

Thank you all for your hard work and every good wish for the

future.

Miss Hudson also leaves us today to commence maternity leave

and we wish her an easy birth!
